The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has proposed a new rule that would allow USPS to control who can receive and vote by mail ballot. If implemented, eligible American citizens will be blocked from participating in our elections. USPS could refuse to mail ballots from states that do not share voter lists. Voters must speak out between now and July 2nd. The USPS needs to hear from as many organizations and individuals as possible that they oppose these changes. Comments should be emailed to PCFederalRegister@usps.gov, with a subject line of “Ballot Mail,” by 5pm ET on Thursday, July 2. Emailed comments must contain the name and address of the commenter.
