February 2024 League 101

League 101

We encourage all members and any guests who are interested in the LWVCC to attend and learn about our Chapter and its work, as well as its relationship with the State and National League of Women Voters.

We will discuss the difference between being non-partisan but political, our committees and the issues they tackle, and our dual roles providing Education as well as Advocacy.

Please not that this is a requisite for the LLP leadership program.

 

PRESENTERS

Diana Walsh
Diana Walsh is a long-term member of the League of Women Voters, joining her local league in Andover, Massachusetts in the early 1990’s, serving as Voter Service Chair and President over the years. Spending increasingly more time in Naples beginning 12 years ago, she joined the local League here in Collier County, again working in Voter Service, then as Co-President and President.
Denise McLaughlin
Denise is a member of the Board of the League of Women Voters of Collier County and its Treasurer.
